Sign in to RoofTap, open Account > Delete account and confirm your request. This initiates deletion of your account and associated personal data. You do not need to send a separate email for an in-app request. Requests are processed manually within 30 days, and completion is confirmed by email.
Email [email protected] with the subject “RoofTap account deletion”. Include the email or account identifier associated with your Apple or Google sign-in. If you use Hide My Email with Apple, include the relay address associated with RoofTap if available. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership. Do not send your password, payment-card details or identity documents unless a specific lawful verification process is explained.
We delete or anonymize account-associated personal data, including saved property statuses, notes, history, saved routes (including route names, stop addresses, coordinates, order and visit-status timestamps), property photos and thumbnails, follow-up reminder settings, push-account bindings and notifications, feedback, saved manual roof revisions and model-sharing preferences, company contacts and logos, account-linked usage events, client-link records and account-linked report/property-lookup activity. Account access is revoked and associated client links are disabled as part of the deletion process. Stored images are removed through the photo-cleanup process; some cleanup may complete in the background. Shared public survey data and roof geometry or results no longer linked to an identifiable person may remain. Limited records may be retained where needed for legal, security or fraud-prevention purposes, only for the applicable purpose and necessary period, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account cannot recall a report, PDF, screenshot or other copy that a recipient has already saved or shared independently. Signing out or uninstalling RoofTap is not an account-deletion request. Pending uploads and local caches may remain on a device until removed.
Deleting your account or uninstalling RoofTap does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage or cancel it separately in Apple Account settings: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
For optional usage analytics, turn off Account > Share usage data to stop future optional events and clear unsent events. In versions supporting server deletion, turning it off while signed in also sends a request to delete your account's events and this installation's pre-sign-in events. This requires a successful authenticated server connection. If the request could not complete, you use an older version or you want confirmation, contact support to request deletion; account deletion also includes account-linked events.
To stop sharing future manual edits for model improvement, turn off Account > Use my roof edits to improve RoofTap. In versions with this control, doing so also requests withdrawal of permission for earlier shared edits. Contact support with the relevant report/account if it could not complete or you need confirmation. You can keep your RoofTap account while making a specific data request. We may need enough information to verify ownership and identify the relevant account or installation.
